Penopang utama berasal dari faktor teknikal indeks yang menunjukkan tren pelemahan mulai terbatas.Selain itu, penguatan juga ditopang keyakinan atau optimisme investor atas kinerja bursa keuangan. Analis Artha Sekuritas Indonesia Dennies Christopher memperkirakan bursa saham bergerak di level support 6.184-6.216 dan resistance di 6.302-6.356 pada hari ini.”Secara teknikal indikator stochastic mulai menyempit mendekati area oversold mengindikasikan tren pelemahan mulai terbatas,” kata Dennies dalam risetnya.Kendati begitu, ia melihat masih ada potensi pelemahan IHSG pada hari ini karena minimnya sentimen dari dalam negeri. Selain itu, pelemahan juga terbuka karena bayang-bayang kesepakatan stimulus dari Amerika Serikat.Sementara Analis sekaligus Presiden Direktur Indosurya Bersinar Sekuritas William Surya Wijaya memperkirakan kinerja IHSG mungkin membaik, tapi masih sangat rentan di teritori negatif pada hari ini.
